The vast majority, 78% of headaches are tension-type headaches and around 16% are migraines. We know that general exercise can often reduce headache severity and frequency as can psychological interventions. The National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) state that there is some preliminary evidence to suggest that seeing a practitioner who utilises manual therapies may be of benefit.
